Using data from the Canadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS) and the new Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines for Adults aged 18-64 years and 65 years and older, the purpose of this study is to compare the percentages of Canadians meeting three different sedentary thresholds (less than and equal to 3 hours per day of screen time, less than and equal to 7 per day of self-reported sitting time and less than and equal to 9 hours per day of accelerometer-measured sedentary time).

    In 2018, Canada legalized the use and sale of non-medical cannabis, with most provinces also permitting home cultivation. To advance the knowledge of home cultivation patterns in Canada within the context of legalization, this study examines (1) the demographics and use patterns of cannabis home growers before and after legalization and (2) the relationship between home cultivation and cannabis-related risks, including workplace use and driving after cannabis use.
