This data visualization tool provides access to current and historical data for the Architectural, Engineering and Related Services Price Index (AESPI), and it's subcomponents at the national level, as well as at regional levels for B.C. and Territories, the Prairies, Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. It allows users to view the index series, quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year percent changes, and to compare and analyze price changes across the different sub-components and regions. Geographic proximity to service centres and population centres is an important determinant of socio-economic and health outcomes. Consequently, it is a relevant dimension in the analysis and delivery of policies and programs.

To measure this dimension, Statistics Canada developed an Index of Remoteness of communities. For each populated community (census subdivision), the index is determined by its distance to all the population centres defined by Statistics Canada in a given travel radius, as well as their population size.

CSELCC addresses child care in Canada for children younger than 6 years old and asks about the different types of child care arrangements that families use, the difficulties some families may face when looking for care, as well as reasons for not using child care. The survey also collects information on parents' labour market participation to better understand the interaction between work and the use of child care arrangements.

Description: The Public Use Microdata File (PUMF) for the Canadian Tobacco and Nicotine Survey (CTNS) provides information to fill important data gaps related to vaping, cannabis, and tobacco usage. The data will inform policy and provide a current snapshot of use across Canada.

Until 2017, Statistics Canada conducted the Canadian Tobacco, Alcohol and Drugs Survey (CTADS), which collected data on tobacco as well as alcohol and drug use in Canada. In 2019, the Canadian Alcohol and Drugs Survey (CADS) was conducted to collect data on alcohol and drug use independently from the Canadian Tobacco and Nicotine Survey (CTNS) which was conducted to primarily collect data on tobacco and nicotine.

It includes the latest weekly death data and historical weekly death data back to 2014 from the Canadian Vital Statistics: Death database (CVS:D). The CVS:D is an administrative survey that collects demographic and medical (cause of death) information from all provincial and territorial vital statistics registries on all deaths in Canada.

With this tool, data users can explore current and historical weekly trends of deaths for each province and territory. Key variables such as age group and sex are also presented in interactive charts.
