The Multifactor Productivity application is an analytical tool that provides custom aggregation and custom tabulation of productivity statistics based on the series in CODR table 36-10-0211. The application permits custom aggregation across industries for all published variables, data transformations such as growth rate calculations, log-transformations and index re-basing, correlation and density analysis and visualization of retrieved outputs. The output values from calculations are available as .csv files. Visualizations can be downloaded as .png files. The data in the application are annual values beginning in 1961 and ending with the most recent data available.

Intellectual property (IP) is a distinct form of creative endeavour such as an invention, literary and artistic work, image or design that may be protected by formal legislation or common law or that has provided commercial value. The strategic use of IP is critical to the innovation and economic growth of Canadian enterprises. As a result, the IPAU survey was created to establish a baseline on the familiarity and use of IP by businesses in Canada. This survey is also part of the national Intellectual Property Strategy, which was designed to improve access to the IP system for all Canadians, including traditionally underrepresented groups, such as women and Indigenous peoples. Businesses in Canada can own IP domestically and internationally. International IP protection is accorded through a registration process in the country of interest. Data are available by enterprise size; by sector, according to the North American Industry Classification System; and by economic region, according to the Standard Geographical Classification, for the reference period from 2017 to 2019.

The Agriculture Taxation Data Program (ATDP) is an annual census of tax filer records used to estimate a range of financial agricultural variables including detailed farm revenues and expenses as well as incomes of farm families. This interactive data visualization tool is a visual library for exploring and analyzing ATDP data. Its features allow the creation of charts for targeted inquiries. Data are available at the national and provincial level. Users can also drilldown the data using filters such as farm type and revenue class.

Three correspondence files are available:

The Dissemination Area correspondence file is a tabular product that describes the relationship between the current census Dissemination Area and the previous census Dissemination Area;

The Dissemination Area and Land Area correspondence file describes the percentage of the current census Dissemination Area's land area within the boundaries extent of the previous census Dissemination Area;

The Dissemination Block correspondence file describes the relationship between the current census Dissemination Block and the previous census Dissemination Block.

Each file contains a unique identifier for the current census geographic area and the corresponding unique identifier for the previous census geographic area. In addition, a relationship flag is included which indicates the degree of correspondence between the geographic areas, facilitating the comparison between census years.

Description:

This Cartographic Boundary File for Canada contains the boundaries of all 82 census agricultural regions delineated for the 2011 Census of Agriculture together with the shoreline around Canada and the larger inland lakes, all integrated in a single layer. The boundary file co-ordinates are latitude/longitude and are based on the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83). The file is available in ARC/INFO Interchange, MapInfo Interchange and Geography Markup Language formats.
