Using police-reported data from the Uniform Crime Reporting Survey, this Juristat article explores the prevalence and nature of online child sexual exploitation incidents reported by police in 2024. In addition, data from the Integrated Criminal Court Survey are used to examine the number and types of cases involving sexual offences against children likely facilitated online that were completed in adult criminal court and youth court from 2014/2015 to 2023/2024.

How do I refine my search?

  • You can enter keywords in the search box. It is not necessary to use “+” or “, “ or “AND”.

  • You can delete some or all of the keywords from your search string.

  • Quotes around keywords limit the search to a specific phrase.
