The pathways of youth through Nova Scotia's justice system are explored, along with the extent of re-contact with police including prevalence, frequency and time to re-contact. This study uses data from three different sources including the Uniform Crime Reporting Survey, the Integrated Criminal Courts Survey and Nova Scotia's restorative justice system.

In addition, inequalities in certain measures of health and social well-being among those who had a contact with Saskatchewan police between 2009 and 2010 are also explored.
