  The data visualization tool on barriers and facilitators of labour force participation is based on data from the 2017 Aboriginal Peoples Survey (APS). Its purpose is to help Aboriginal organizations, government policy and program developers explore the results by Aboriginal identity, age group, sex and region. The tool will help visualize statistics on methods of looking for work, reasons for difficulty in finding work and what would help most in finding work for a specific sub-group and region. This tool is expected to enhance the uptake of information that will be published in the accompanying report: "Self-reported barriers and facilitators of labour force participation among First Nations people living off reserve, Métis, and Inuit: findings from the 2017 Aboriginal Peoples Survey".

  Description: This interactive dashboard allows users to examine financial and employment variables for enterprises aggregated at the industry and industry aggregation level, as well as at the provincial, territorial and regional level.

  Financial statistics are based on the Financial and Taxation Statistics for Enterprises product (survey 2510) and are calculated to the province and territory level using employment allocation factors based on profiled data from the Business Register and administrative data from the Canada Revenue Agency T4 Supplemental file.

  The employment data has been aggregated at the industry and industry aggregation level, using the annual provincial program of Canadian Productivity Accounts (survey 5103) which produces annual data on jobs by province and territory.

  Description: This interactive tool provides an overview of the student debt and estimated gross annual earnings of postsecondary graduates in Canada. Estimates are available for four levels of study (college, bachelor's, master's and doctorate) and by province of study or location of residence at time of interview. Measures of student debt include the percentage of graduates who owed debt to any source at graduation, the average amount of that debt, and the percentage of those graduates who had paid off their debt by the time of interview. Estimated gross annual earnings are measured at the 25th percentile, median, and 75th percentile.

  Description:

  This dashboard presents selected data that are relevant for monitoring the impacts of COVID-19 on economic activity in Canada. It includes data on a range of monthly indicators - real GDP, consumer prices, the unemployment rate, merchandise exports and imports, retail sales, hours worked and manufacturing sales -- as well as monthly data on aircraft movements, railway carloadings, and travel between Canada and other countries.

  Estimates are presented from January 2019 to the current reference month for each data series. The information will be updated continuously as new data becomes available, and additional series may be added to the dashboard as circumstances warrant.

  To support the analysis of time series movements in the data, the dashboard reports changes in each series on both a month-over-month and year-over-year basis. For most of the variables reported, information on cumulative changes in the data both prior and subsequent to the end of 2019 is also presented by indexing the level estimates to December 2019, as depicted in the accompanying charts.
