This Infographic paints a portrait of registered apprentices across Canada, as well as those who certified in a trade. In addition, there is a focus on women in the trades especially those entering male-dominated trades, and the preliminary results of the COVID-19 Shutdown and its impact on the apprenticeship system. These results are based on the Registered Apprenticeship Information System (RAIS) that compiles data on the number of registered apprentices, certifications and trade qualifiers in Canada on an annual basis.
