Specifically, using data from the 2024 Canadian Community Health Survey, the article shows how the proportion of people who have an RHCP differs between and within the racialized populations and the non-racialized and non-Indigenous population and varies across racialized groups based on demographic characteristics, such as gender, age, immigrant status, immigration period and provincial region.

Data were collected from over 130,000 respondents, aged 12 or older, residing in households across all provinces and territories.
