The 2011 Workplace Survey is a pilot survey that was conducted in collaboration with Employment and Social Development Canada. According to the survey, there were 392,500 job vacancies in December 2011.
The article "Job vacancies in 2011: Results of the Workplace Survey" presents the results of the survey and examines whether the trends observed in job vacancies are reflected in selected Labour Force Survey indicators.
