Consumer prices fell 0.9% in the 12 months to September 2009,
following a 0.8% decrease in August. Excluding energy, the Consumer Price
Index rose 1.3% on a year-over-year basis. On a seasonally adjusted monthly
basis, consumer prices went up 0.1% from August to September.
