There were 448,480 aircraft take-offs and landings at the 93 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations in March 2013 compared with 456,633 movements in March 2012.
Itinerant movements (flights from one airport to another) decreased (-5,614 movements) in March 2013 from the same month in 2012. These airports reported 317,214 movements compared with 322,828 movements in March 2012.
There were 131,266 local movements (flights that remain in the vicinity of the airport) in March 2013 compared with 133,805 movements in March 2012.
