Zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) have continued to grow in popularity. See how this market is gaining traction in British Columbia!

  • ZEVs made up 8.4% of new vehicles registered in British Columbia* for the first half of 2020.

In the first two quarters of 2020, 6,515 new zero-emission vehicles were registered in British Columbia.

Note: Zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) are battery-electric vehicles (BEV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) that have the potential to produce no tailpipe emissions.

* Data for British Columbia include the territories
