Zero-emission vehicles have continued to grow in popularity. See how this market is gaining traction in Canada!
- In the first half of 2020, 3.5% of total new vehicles registered in Canada were zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs).
In the first and second quarters of 2020, 21,188 new zero-emission vehicles were registered in the country.
Note: Zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) are battery-electric vehicles (BEV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) that have the potential to produce no tailpipe emissions.
