More specifically, the article examines the criminal justice outcomes (i.e., charges laid, decisions made in relation to these charges and, where possible, sentencing outcomes) of online child sexual exploitation incidents reported by police between 2014 and 2021 that resulted in a completed court case between fiscal years 2013/2014 and 2022/2023.
