Description: This Juristat article examines the extent to which adult criminal court outcomes differ between Indigenous people and White people accused of criminal offences in Canada from 2016/2017 to 2020/2021. Differences in decision and sentencing outcomes are examined overtime and broken down by gender, age, province/region, type of offence, and criminal history. Additionally, results are presented separately for First Nations people, Métis, and Inuit accused.
