Fertilizer Shipments Survey, third and fourth quarters 2025/2026

Data on the shipments, production and market inventories of fertilizer in Canada are now available for the third and fourth quarters of the 2025/2026 fertilizer year.
Note to readers
Data on fertilizer statistics have been revised back to the third quarter of the 2024/2025 fertilizer year.
Data on fertilizer statistics have higher rates of estimation from the first quarter of the 2021/2022 fertilizer year to the fourth quarter of the 2024/2025 fertilizer year, as a result of higher non-response rates. These data are subject to revision.
Shipments and production data are cumulative, compiled on a fertilizer-year basis, starting July 1 of a given year and ending June 30 the following year.
The Census of Agriculture was conducted in May. Every five years, farm operators across Canada complete the Census of Agriculture. Insights from the 2026 Census will provide crucial information about the agriculture sector in Canada to help make business decisions.
