Input-output tables, 2024
Released: 2026-04-15
The national input-output tables for 2024 are now available. The national input-output tables for 2022 and 2023 have been revised.
The industry-by-industry input-output tables show inter-industry transactions, that is, all purchases of an industry from all other industries, as well as expenditures on imports and the components of value added, such as wages and gross operating surplus. Similarly, the final demand tables show all purchases by each final demand category from all industries, as well as expenditures on imports. The input-output tables are analytically derived from the industry-by-product supply and use tables.
Note to readers
The estimates for 2023 and 2024 are only available nationally. They are based on advanced estimates of the Canadian supply and use tables that were modelled based on industry indicators of output and gross value added and benchmarked to published income and expenditure account figures.
