As part of the ongoing AgZero initiative, Statistics Canada has released the Open Database of Greenhouses (ODG) which is a collection of digitized greenhouses and their locations across Canada. The ODG leverages new technologies to potentially automate the collection of greenhouse data across Canada.

Following the release of the 2021 Census of Agriculture data in May 2022, intercensal revisions to the Greenhouse, Sod and Nursery industries data for years 2017 to 2021 are now available.
