Today, Statistics Canada publishes a new article entitled "Finding their way through the pandemic: half-year 2021 flash estimates of selected service industries."
According to that study, a stronger growth was observed in several service industries in the first half of 2021. Having been less adversely impacted by the pandemic, professional business services experienced modest uptick in the first half of 2021. Most service industries have adapted their operations since the pandemic started by leveraging digital technologies, among other things.
