Shipments of ammonium sulphate within Canada decreased by 32 000 tonnes to 847 000 tonnes in the fourth quarter of the 2020/2021 fertilizer year, down 3.6% from the same quarter a year earlier.
Over the same period, production of ammonium sulphate, a highly soluble fertilizer containing both nitrogen and sulphur, increased 11.5% to 1 335 000 tonnes.

Data on the shipments, production and market inventories of fertilizer in Canada are now available for the fourth quarter of the 2020/2021 fertilizer year.
Data on fertilizer statistics have been revised back to the first quarter of the 2019/2020 fertilizer year.
