This release provides data on the economic impact of the wireless telecommunications carriers industry, expressed as output, gross value added and jobs. It covers the economic activity directly produced by the industry, by the industry supply chain, and from increased household expenditure from wages generated by the industry and its indirect requirements. The data rely on the supply and use tables, which provide the basis for the calculations.
