Who better to help count the 150 candles on Canada's birthday cake than the agency that has been telling this country's story in numbers for more than a century?
This month's edition of the StatCan Blog, "Telling Canada's story in numbers," looks at the role Statistics Canada is playing in marking the 150th anniversary of Confederation.
The agency has a diverse lineup set for 2017, including a speaker series, special social media postings, contests for young people, and online activities. All of these will help illuminate Canada's past and present.
You can't have a party without pictures either. This year, Statistics Canada will release statistical snapshots of every facet of this country as it publishes the results of the 2016 Census of Population.
