Industrial chemicals and synthetic resins, 2025

In 2025, the highest production levels for industrial chemicals were recorded for ethylene (5.7 million tonnes, up 5.6% from 2024), anhydrous ammonia (4.8 million tonnes, up 1.0%) and urea (4.0 million tonnes, down 1.4%).
The production of polyethylene, a synthetic resin, reached 4.4 million tonnes, an increase of 7.2% from 2024.
