Federal correctional services statistics, 2023/2024

Data on federal correctional services, as well as operating expenditures for adult correctional services in Canada, are now available for 2023/2024.
Note to readers
Federal correctional services data provide information on the number of admissions to federal custody, as well as the average count of adults in federal custody. Total operating expenditures include custodial services, community supervision services, headquarters and central services, and parole boards where applicable. Data are compiled from the Adult Correctional Services Survey, Canadian Correctional Services Survey and the Adult Corrections Key Indicator Report.
