Canadian manufacturers produced 1.9 billion cigarettes in March, up 16.5% from February 2021. Cigarette production was 15.5% higher compared with March 2020.
The total number of cigarettes sold increased 19.7% to 1.5 billion from February 2021. The level of sales was 16.6% lower compared with March 2020.
