Shipments of asphalt shingles totalled 1.5 million metric bundles in December—down 39.5% from the previous month and up 10.7% from December 2019.
Production of asphalt shingles totalled 1.9 million metric bundles in December—down 39.0% from November and up 3.0% from December 2019.
When comparing calendar years, shipments of shingles in 2020 were 4.0% higher than in 2019, while production was 10.4% lower.
