Estimated areas, yield and production of principal field crops by Small Area Data Regions, in metric and imperial units^{1, 2, 3}

On February 21, 2018, a correction was made to corn for grain values expressed in imperial unit of measure, for Quebec's 11 sub-region levels (except region 2), year 2013; to corn for grain production expressed in metric unit of measure, for region 5 in Ontario, year 2012; and to canola yields expressed in metric unit of measure, for region 1 (Non Peace) and region 8 (Peace) of British-Columbia, year 2014 and for region 18 in Saskatchewan, year 2012. Also, a correction was made to the scalar factor for oats and corn for grain production, expressed in metric unit of measure, for Quebec's 11 sub-regions levels, year 2012.

On March 6, 2018, the following corrections were implemented: the decimal indicator for Saskatchewan regions 8 (yield and production series) and 9 (seeded and harvested areas series) in 2017, for both metric and imperial units of measure has been removed; a decimal indicator for Manitoba soybeans 2017 imperial yield for regions 4 and 5 has been added; for years 2012-2017 (for all provinces but Québec, and only in 2017 for Ontario), the "Wheat, all" category for seeded area referred erroneously to "Wheat, all" (which includes winter wheat seeded in the previous fall) category found in provincial table 001-0017, but are now referring to "Wheat, all including winter wheat remaining", as it should (some regions had to have their areas, yields and production also be redistributed as a result of this change); for 2012, yields and productions for regions 1 and 2 of Manitoba sunflower seed have been corrected, in both metric and imperial units of measure; for 2016, the sum of regions for Saskatchewan canola did not equal the provincial total, therefore a proper redistribution had to be applied to regions; for 2017, barley estimates for regions 1, 3, 4 and 5 in Ontario have been completed with imperial and metric seeded and harvested areas, and with metric production; some of the yields also changed slightly as a result of the various redistributions applied above.
