The Environmental Perspective of the Infrastructure Economic Account presents indicators derived from linking two sets of environmental accounts to the Infrastructure Economic Account. The Physical Flow Accounts which measures greenhouse gas emissions resulting from economic activity and the Environmental and Clean Technology Products Economic Account which measures the production and use of goods and services that reduce the negative environmental impacts associated with economic activity. Linking these accounts permits the development of indicators on greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the production of infrastructure assets and proportion of environmental and clean technology inputs into the construction of the infrastructure asset.
