Highlights

  1. Consumer prices increased 2.2% on average in May 2007 compared with May 2006, identical to the 12-month change in the previous month. The Bank of Canada’s core index also rose 2.2% over the same time period, a marked slowdown from the 2.5% increase posted last month.
