The National Economic Accounts module features an up-to-date portrait of national and provincial economies and their structure. This includes comprehensive information and overviews of all the components of the accounts as well as more than 300 free statistical tables.

Revision policy

Preceding quarters of the year are revised when the current quarter is published. Each year, revisions extending back four years are made with the publication of first quarter data. They are not normally revised again except when historical revisions are carried out.

Gross domestic product by industry

Revisions arise from updates to benchmark data, projectors and seasonal adjustment. January to June: Back to previous year; July: Back to January of fifth previous year; August to December: Back to January of current year. Occasionally, there are historical revisions due to conceptual, methodological and classification changes.
