The 2011 Households and the Environment Survey was a cooperative project jointly managed by the Environment Accounts and Statistics Division under the direction of Robert Smith, Director and John Marshall, Chief, Environmental Protection Accounts and Surveys, and Special Surveys Division under the direction of Geoff Bowlby, Director and Denis Poulin, Chief, Education Surveys. Data Collection for the survey was conducted by the Collection Planning and Management Division under the direction of Duncan Wrighte, Director.

The HES 2011 Project team consisted of the following:
