The current version of the CCCT contains key indicators of crime based on police-reported data from the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Survey, including the Crime Severity Index, rates of selected offences, rates of unfounded incidents and rates of firearm-related violent crime. Also included are data related to police-reported homicide, and hate crime. Data are for 2017 and 2018 and presented at the national, provincial, territorial levels, as well as for police service boundaries (meaning municipal police services as well as detachments of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Ontario Provincial Police, the Sûreté du Québec and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary).Release date: 2019-10-04
