    Police-reported violent crime in Canada increased steadily from the early 1970s through to the early 1990s. The 1993 General Social Survey indicated a growing concern among Canadians about threats of attack or violence. Yet the homicide rate has gradually been declining since the mid 1970s.

How do I use the filters and the search box?
