It is based on responses to the question "How often would you say you have people you can depend on to help you when you really need it?" from the Canadian Social Survey, which was collected from January to March 2022. This infographic also shows how Canadians' sense of belonging to their local community, self-rated health and self-rated mental health vary in relation to how often they say they have someone to count on. Someone to count on is an indicator in the Quality of Life Framework for Canada.
