Description: This article examines the missed rates of non-permanent residents (NPRs) in the 2021 Census using data from the Census Undercoverage Study (CUS) and administrative data from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The study shows that the missed rate of NPRs in the 2021 Census decreased compared to the previous census, and that certain characteristics of NPRs are correlated with being omitted.
