Today, Statistics Canada is releasing data related to the postsecondary education pathways of college and university students (entry cohorts from 2011 to 2021). This release includes information on the proportion of postsecondary students remaining enrolled from one academic year to another (persistence rates) and the proportion of students graduating (graduation rates). Information is available by educational qualification, field of study, age group, gender, and status of student in Canada. Data are available at the national, provincial and territorial levels.
The data used for the calculation of these student pathway indicators are derived from the Postsecondary Student Information System .
