Estimates of expenditures and output

At this point the majority of the building blocks needed to construct the cannabis economic accounts were calculated. All that remained was to multiply the appropriate volume estimates calculated in section one of this guide by the appropriate price calculated in section two. These calculations can be found in the following formulas.

(1) Volume of consumption of licensed cannabis from licensed producers * Purchaser price of licensed cannabis = Household expenditures on licensed cannabis purchased from licensed producers

(2) Volume of consumption of licensed cannabis produced for own final use * Basic price of licensed cannabis = Household expenditures on licensed cannabis produced for final own use

(3) Volume of the consumption of unlicensed cannabis purchased on the market * Purchaser price of unlicensed cannabis = Household expenditures on unlicensed cannabis purchased on the market

(4) Volume of the consumption of unlicensed cannabis produced for final own use * Basic price of unlicensed cannabis. = Household expenditures on unlicensed cannabis produced for final own use

(5) Volume of purchases from abroad of cannabis * Purchaser price of unlicensed cannabis = Purchases from abroad of unlicensed cannabis

(6) Volume of domestic production of licensed cannabis sold on the market * Basic price of licensed cannabis = Domestic production of licensed cannabis destined for the domestic market

(7) Volume of domestic production of unlicensed cannabis sold on the market * Basic price of unlicensed cannabis = Domestic production of unlicensed cannabis

(8) Volume of domestic production of unlicensed cannabis sold abroad * Basic price of unlicensed cannabis + transportation margin = Sales abroad of unlicensed cannabis
