According to the Primary Care Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PC-PTSD) Screen Tool, answering "yes" to any three of the four questions indicates a suspicion of PTSD. It is important to note that this is not a diagnostic tool and this is not the same as a diagnosis of PTSD. In a clinical setting, 3 or more "yes" answers would indicate that the patient should be referred for more in-depth assessment and a potential diagnosis.
