Corrections have been made to this product. Please take note of the following changes:

On September 15th, 2023, the term ‘age-standardized’ was replaced by ‘crude’ for the presented mortality rates throughout Section 4.0.

Additionally, a note was added in the ‘Data and Methods’ section explaining that data from the Canadian Vital Statistics - Birth Database (CVSB) and the Canadian Vital Statistics - Death Database (CVSD) are subject to annual revisions to incorporate new and updated information received from the provinces and territories. The information presented in this report reflects the versions of the two databases released on September 28, 2022, and January 24, 2022, respectively.

On January 11th, 2024, the indicator, the proportion of Canadians aged 12 and older who “…consumed five or more servings of fruits and vegetables per day” was changed to the proportion of Canadians aged 12 and older who “…reported eating fruits and vegetables five or more times per day” in Section 5.0 - Key findings.
