E use with caution (>0.15 to ≤0.35) F too unreliable to be published (> 0.35) Notes: This table is based on responses to two questions: "What other methods of protection did you and your partner use the last time you had sex?" and "Did you or your partner use a condom the last time you had sex?". Respondents could select more than one answer for the methods of protection question; therefore, total percentages exceed 100%. The sample used for estimating the use of other contraceptive methods the last time the respondent had sex among currently sexually active 15- to 24-year-olds who are at risk of pregnancy (i.e., males who reported having had sex with a female and females who reported having had sex with a male) numbered 5,836. Estimates of dual use, which refers to the use of any contraceptive method in combination with a condom, used samples ranging from 86 (other) to 2,784 (oral contraceptive pill).
