Reflects those who were "unemployed" or "not in the labour force." In the Labour Force Survey (LFS), those individuals who are, during the survey reference week, without work, actively seeking employment and currently available to start work are categorized as unemployed. Individuals who are not working and who are not unemployed (individuals who are not looking for a job) are categorized as "not in labour force."
