As has become our annual tradition in August, Perspectives once again focuses on organized labour. This year, we look at the trend in workdays lost because of labour disputes. "Time lost due to industrial disputes" examines trends in Canada since 1980.

We have also produced our annual update on unionization. This year's version is now available as a free PDF file through the "Key labour and income facts" link. Abridged versions of the tables will also appear in our autumn (paper) issue, which is scheduled to be released September 12.
