Statistics Canada has launched the Canada’s Transgender and Non-Binary Population: Data Visualization Tool to provide an overview of sex at birth and gender of people in Canada from the 2021 Census of Population. The Data Visualization tools includes those who identify as cisgender, transgender, and non-binary. The data can be filtered by province or by Census Metropolitan Areas (CMA’s).
The data can be filtered by location using the drop-down menu. The titles of the graphs will not change, it will show data according to the selected filter.

Keyboard shortcuts and screen reader tips are available by entering the visual and pressing CTRL + Enter.
While in the visual, pressing SHIFT + "?" will open the keyboard shortcuts.
When focus is on a visual, the data table can be displayed by pressing ALT + SHIFT + F11.
