Please note that the trendline for Prince Edward Island exceeds this range. This is the result of unusually high numbers of inbound visitors in Prince Edward Island, far exceeding pre-covid levels. A change to the visualization is underway.

This interactive visualization tool provides an overall representation of the relative performance of tourism-related activity in Canada with respect to the reference period, over time and geography.

Various sources have been used at both the domestic and international (inbound) levels to create the tourism-related activity tracker. The sources used include air movements, surface movements, spending and more.

The current base period is 2019.
