How to use
Instructions to maximize the use of this interactive tool
This interactive tool presents data on gross domestic product (GDP) by income and by expenditure. GDP by income is available in current prices and GDP by expenditure is available in current prices and in chained dollars according to the current base year.
Display controls
The following controls are presented across the top:
- Pagination buttons for income-based GDP in current dollars, expenditure-based GDP in current dollars, and expenditure-based GDP in chained dollars at the current base year.
- Province and territory drop-down menu. Select a province, a territory, or Canada to display data for that region in all three charts.
- Estimate drop-down menu. Displays which estimate is displayed in the upper chart.
- Year range slider. Displays the range of dates shown in the upper chart. The end date controls which year is shown for the lower charts.
