Additional information
This visualization is based on the sales data published in the table of the Retail Commodity Survey (Table: 20-10-0016-01). All RCS estimates at the total industry level are benchmarked to the raw-unadjusted estimates of the Monthly Retail Trade Survey (Table: 20-10-0008-02).
Some items may only be published for a limited number of products / industries due to data quality or confidentiality concerns. As a result, data may be unavailable for certain reference periods for certain product / industry combinations.
All products are classified using the 2017 North American Product Classification. System (NAPCS 2017). All industries are classified using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS 2017).
