Electric utility construction price indexes
Table summary
This table displays the annual data from the Electric utility construction price indexes from 2006 to 2012. Data points include: total for distribution systems and transmission line systems and then disaggregated into their components. Data points for components of distribution systems include; total direct costs; materials; poles, towers and fixtures; overhead conductors; street lighting systems and water heaters, distribution systems equipment, labour, construction equipment and construction indirects. Data points for components of transmission line systems include: transmission line systems less interest foregone during construction; transmission lines; poles, towers, fixtures and overhead conductors, materials; installation labour; installation equipment; construction indirects; transmission lines less interest foregone during construction; substations; main station building; support structures and fixtures; station equipment; equipment; labour; construction indirects; and substations less interest foregone during construction. The type and components of the distribution systems are the row headers and the annual data and base year are the column headers.
