There were 359,540 aircraft take-offs and landings at the 93 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations in January 2013 compared with 355,245 movements in January 2012.

Itinerant movements (flights from one airport to another) increased (+364 movements) in January 2013 from the same month in 2012. These airports reported 275,310 movements compared with 274,946 movements in January 2012.

There were 84,230 local movements (flights that remain in the vicinity of the airport) in January 2013 compared with 80,299 movements in January 2012.
