Highlights
- Between October and November 2007, total production of polyethylene increased 4.5% to 327,788 metric tonnes.
- Ethylene production declined 2.0% to 411,737 metric tonnes in November 2007.
- Monthly anhydrous ammonia production decreased 4.5% to 384,461 metric tonnes. Production was up 0.2% from the same month last year.
- In November 2007, production of urea decreased 0.4% to 322,149 metric tonnes. Compared with the November 2006, production was up 15.5%.
- The production of sulphuric acid rose 4.8% to 343,070 metric tonnes in November 2007, compared with the same month last year, production increased 1.8%.
