- Monthly production of primary steel and pig iron increased 32.2% in June 2009 to 697,264 metric tonnes.
- In the same month, the total disposition of shipments of rolled steel products increased 33.4% to 650,878 metric tonnes.
- Between May 2009 and June 2009, production of steel pipe and tubing increased 25.7% to 114,959 metric tonnes.
- Total shipments of steel wire and specified wire products increased 11.8% to 41,014 metric tonnes in June 2009.
